Jampa Latso

Jampa Latso is a visionary leader and committed champion for gender equality and women’s empowerment. She was born and raised in a small village in Ganzi, Western Sichuan, China. She has an extensive working experience with a diverse social service groups, community agencies and organizations. Jampa initiated and managed multiple community development projects including literacy and solar energy projects that created positive impact in her local communities in Ganzi.

Her articles covered variety of topics including education for girls, gender issues, global issues from women’s perspectives are featured at TIME Magazine and World Pulse Global Issues. Jampa has appeared as a Keynote speaker at multiple global stages including Social Good Summit, Clinton Global Initiative, Intel, Twitter, Facebook and Emerging Women Leaders’ conference.

She earned her BA degree in Asian Studies at Asian University for Women in Bangladesh and MA degree in Intercultural Service Leadership & Management at SIT Graduate Institute in US.
